Before the AI wave, I spent 20+ years building and scaling systems at companies like Xoom (acquired by PayPal), MuleSoft (acquired by Salesforce for $6.5B), and as Co-Founder & CTO at Beam Solutions (acquired by Jumio). I've taken companies through IPOs, led engineering teams through acquisitions, and rebuilt legacy platforms more times than I can count.
These days, I focus exclusively on AI consulting because it's where the biggest gap exists: companies rushing to adopt AI without understanding how to do it right. I work with teams drowning in AI-generated code and companies paralyzed by AI decisions.
